Riyadh, January 11, 2011: The Public Telecommunications Company (Bravo), the leading telecom provider specializing in group, instant wireless communication services and solutions for the enterprise and government sectors in KSA, announced today signing an agreement with Huawei Tech. KSA, the global leading telecom solutions provider, to deploy BSS solutions at Bravo to increase its business operation efficiency.

Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ageel, CEO of Bravo, and Mr. Sheng Kai, CEO of Huawei Tech. Investment Saudi Arabia Co., Limited, signed the agreement in Riyadh in attendance of the senior officials of both sides.

Eng. Al-Ageel said, "We have signed this agreement with Huawei due to our commitments to our customers for increasing the efficiency of Bravo's operation infrastructure. Our commitments to our customers, in private and public sectors, drive us to constantly revolutionize to reach the best levels of efficiency in all Bravo's departments and functions for increasing the service quality to our customers".  

On the other hand, Mr. Sheng Kai commented, "We are so proud to have such strategic agreement with Bravo, a leading telecom provider specializing in instant, group wireless enterprise communication services and solutions in KSA". "This agreement stresses our leading position in best serving the needs of the Saudi telecom industry to be more advanced, competitive and profitable through Huawei advanced solutions and systems".

The project lays, Mr. Sheng Kai indicated, a foundation for establishing a strategic partnership opportunity with Huawei that can boost Bravo's capabilities in addressing its goals in terms of serving customers and achieving more sustainable business growth.

BSS improves the business value of company's sales support, marketing, customer relationship management and billing functions. It enables Bravo to increase its revenue, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and optimize their overall business processes. BSS eliminates limitations of the legacy billing system by replacing it with next generation Business Support System (BSS) solutions.

Bravo chose Huawei for this revolutionary project because of its strong regional presence with over 500 employees in Saudi Arabia, vibrant R&D capabilities and remarkable success stories with other leading telecom operators in KSA.

According to the agreement, the project will implemented over 2011. After launching the project, Bravo will take further 6 -12 months to be fully acquainted with the system and its functions with about 12 months after launch to see the benefits of the project.
