DUBAI, September 7, 2004: Benetton's Fall Winter collection has just made its way to the UAE from its hometown Treviso in Italy and is now available in all Benetton outlets in the UAE: Deira City Centre, Bur Juman, Lamcy Plaza, and Jumeirah Plaza in Dubai and Abu Dhabi Mall in Abu Dhabi.
"The new Fall/Winter range this year is very dynamic offering many opportunities to mix and match for different occasions, without losing the essence of the Italian design and style," said Ajai Dayal, general manager, retail and marketing, at Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group - sole distributor of Benetton apparel in the UAE.
There are almost 30 styles in store this season for women, men, teenagers and children. Divided by look and colour rather than function, the themes in the women's collection vary from the 70's Bad Country Girl look to Fancy Retro and Street Tribe.
Colours this season for women include dusty earth, forest and wood shades, plums, pinks and beiges. Mini skirts, loose blouses, 30's style dresses, accessorised trousers, pedal pushers with knitted trims, and divided skirts are some of the items from the new collection.
Themes of the men's collection are Formal City, English Mood, 80's Rockstar, Road Warrior, to name a few. Multi-pocket trousers, low-waist trousers, skin-tight shirts with graffiti and mural art prints are just a taste of the variety in store.
Mini's and midi's with zips and overstitching, figure hugging skirts and trousers, multi-purpose trousers, parka's and T-shirts with animal, map and camouflage patterns and patchwork reflect the styles in the teenage collection, arranged under dramatic themes like Naughty Ninjas, Ethnic Urban Artist, and Extreme Outdoors.
"The uniqueness of the new Fall/Winter collection is in how fashions from the 70's have been incorporated with futuristic styles and designs - the result is truly what makes Benetton stand apart in casual designer wear," continues Dayal.
Last but not the least, the children's collection at Benetton this season is extensive with over 10 themes such as Campus Chic, Schoolhouse Rock and Style Classics for the girls; Urban Denim, College Midnights, and Indoor Tracking for the boys.
Black matched with strong colours, pastel shades that go darker the older the age group, blues, lavenders, reds and pinks are the trends this season. Tartan miniskirts, embroidered jeans, clothes with beads, sequins and trimmings are other highlights of the children's range.
United Colors of Benetton sells a wide range of casual Italian designer clothes, accessories and shoes. Benetton has four outlets in Dubai at Lamcy Plaza, BurJuman Centre, Jumeirah Centre, Deira City Centre, and there is also a new store at Abu Dhabi Mall in the UAE capital.
All clothes are priced between AED35 and AED1905, having something in store for everyone.
