Aptec Gulf and Bright Star Trading Company signed as new Avaya distributors to bring award-winning SMB Sector IP telephony portfolio to the UAE and Saudi Arabia
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES -- Avaya Inc. (NYSE:AV), a leading global provider of communications networks and services for businesses, has appointed two new distributors to target the Small to Medium Business (SMB) sector in the Middle East. The new distribution partners, Aptec Gulf for the UAE and Bright Star Trading Company for Saudi Arabia, will help resellers bring the benefits of Avaya IP telephony solutions to SMEs across the region.
Demand for IP telephony is growing in the Middle East, with more and more small and mid-level organizations considering the move to IP-based solutions for their business communications. With these new distribution agreements, Avaya will be able to address this market segment with partners specialized in meeting the needs of the SMB space.

IP Office has already been deployed at over 60 sites in the UAE.
