Distributor invests in additional resources to support new HP value-add business
Middle East, 28 May 2008 - Aptec Distribution FZ LLC, part of Aptec Holdings, Middle East, Turkey & Africa's largest technology distributor, has launched a dedicated HP value added division to focus on HP's high-end servers and storage solutions. This division will also introduce a unique dedicated HP Demo-Centre in the region outside HP.
"We are very pleased to offer this value added service to our HP channel partners to help them offer bespoke solutions that fit their customers' needs," said Carlos Tannous, Business Unit Manager for HP Enterprise Storage and Servers at Aptec Distribution. "The division will offer pre-sales and sales consultancy alongside the dedicated Demo data centre inside our office."
The demo centre will showcase the latest technologies for HP servers, storage and software with plans to introduce a similar facility in Saudi Arabia within three months.

"We have the expertise in the market to understand our partners' and their customers' needs and ensure that we provide them with all the tools for their success."
Aptec's new HP Value team will include certified HP pre-sales consultants that support the customers by studying infrastructures and offering the optimum solution including bundling with third party software or other hardware vendors. This team will also follow through on the implementation of projects. The team will also include certified consultants focusing on the HP integrity servers and HP storage solutions for all vertical sectors.

The center will also help Independent Software Vendors to test their application on HP Hardware."
