Amman: Al Manhal, the only full-text searchable online platform for Arabic content, has signed a publishing agreement with the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, an international Islamic non-governmental, independent institute based in Amman and Chaired by HRH Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad.

The agreement enables Al Manhal to publish and distribute content produced by the Institute on its online platform. The agreement aims to respond to the needs and requirements of researchers and beneficiaries at universities and research institutes across the globe, by providing unique eServices that meet their various needs. During the signing ceremony, both sides stressed their commitment to supporting the project to stay abreast with new developments and technologies in the world of electronic publishing.

The Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought was established to serve Islam and humanity at large by promoting awareness on Islam and Islamic thought, rectifying unsound ideas and misconceptions about Islam, highlighting the intellectual contribution of Islam and its impact on human civilization and deepening the dialogue and fostering cooperation between Muslim scholars, research centres, institutes, academic entities and universities in accordance with the objectives of the Institute.

The agreement also stipulates that content produced by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre (RISSC), which is an independent research entity affiliated with The Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought, will also be published by Al Manhal. The (RISSC) works towards protecting, preserving and propagating traditional, orthodox, 'moderate' Islam as defined by the international Islamic Consensus.

It also offers complete solutions to quality digital publications, and allows publishers to benefit from their prints by displaying their content, marketing and distributing it and submitting it online through a secure and flexible business model.
