Leading classroom management programme developer targets 20% of MidEast schools in 3 years
Date: 6th December 2008: AB Software Consulting Ltd will participate for the first time at Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) 2009 at Dubai's Airport Expo Centre from 10-12 March 2009 to demonstrate the newest version AB Tutor Control® 6, a networked classroom, instruction, monitoring and teaching tool.
A leading classroom management programme developer, AB Software Consulting is aiming to reach 10 to 20 per cent of schools and education institutions across the Middle East by the end of three years. In order to achieve this goal, the company is planning to set up a branch in Dubai Internet City in 2010 to manage the increasing sales of AB Tutor Control in the Middle East region.
"AB Tutor Control is already employed on hundreds of thousands of computers across the world, and is steadily increasing its market share in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the USA. We are now looking to bring this remarkably intuitive and value for money classroom management programme to the Middle East," said Aileen Earle, Commercial Director, AB Software Consulting.
"GESS is the Middle East's premier educational, supplies and solutions event, and by participating here, we are able to promote awareness of AB Tutor Control to the senior education sector decision-makers in the region. We hope to partner with a local distributor for our software as we expect that the Middle East will become one of our largest markets within the next three years," she added.
The AB Tutor Control is a networked classroom, instruction, monitoring and teaching tool that allows teachers to effectively train students in a networked classroom or lab. Teachers, trainers and administrators can use the software to easily control, manage, monitor, demonstrate, support and collaborate with their students. The product is already gaining popularity in the region with some schools and companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Qatar and Oman having already purchased the product over the Internet.
AB Software Consulting will be present at stand number 374 in GESS. During the event, the company's Technical Director and AB Tutor Control developer Andy Bray will hold a demonstration of the software and will handle any technical queries from show visitors.
"Almost every transaction worldwide transpires using computers and it is not surprising that school lessons are increasingly being conducted using computer technology across the globe. AB Software Consulting's products are an invaluable part of the school environment and we are delighted that they are able to promote their capabilities in the region through GESS," said Sue Rothwell, Group Event Director, F&E.
GESS will also simultaneously host the Global Education Forum, a three-day education forum, which includes exhibitor workshops and round table summits, with local and international keynote speakers, including abstracts from local educationalists. Regular updates can be accessed on the GESS website - www.gulfeducation.info.
GESS 2009 is officially supported by the UAE Ministry of Education, the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) and the UK Trade and Investment Support, World Didac and Didacta (The German Educational Supplies Association) and assisted by AUMA - the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry. The event's official media partner is Education Times Middle East, a business to business publication for the education industry.
