Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 30th June, 2014 - A new partnership has been signed between Turner Broadcasting, a division of Time Warner, and My-HD, the first and only ultra-low pay TV platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The deal sees four heavyweight channels added to My-HD's distinctive suite of programming: CNN International HD, HLN (Headline News), Cartoon Network Arabic +2 and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). This is the first time that CNNi HD in DTH technology (Direct to Home) and HLN are available in the region.

CNN International HD enables viewers to follow a compelling mix of live breaking international news and business, documentary, sport and feature output in a remarkably sharper image. Available to more than two billion people worldwide, CNN was awarded "News Channel of the Year" by the Royal Television Society in 2013 and 2014.

HLN is a CNN Worldwide channel focusing on the 'must-see, must-share' stories of the day for the social media generation.  The channel covers a broad segment of fast-paced and engaging topics ranging from parenting to money matters and celeb news.

Cartoon Network Arabic, one of the leading children's entertainment channels in the MENA region, has a time shift version, enabling subscribers to watch their favourite cartoons 2 hours after their original broadcast. On air since 2010, Cartoon Network Arabic is known for some of the most popular comedy and action-adventure animation, including the hit shows Amazing World of Gumball, Ben 10: Omniverse and Adventure Time.

The award-winning TCM network is a 24-hour broadcasting film channel and world-renowned for airing a rich blend of classics from all genres and ages. The channel has also defined 'new classics' by presenting timeless contemporary productions that will continue to be watched for generations.

Established in 2012 and headquartered in Dubai Media City, My-HD is the leading and first ultra-low pay Direct to Home (DTH) TV platform. The High Definition satellite Pay-TV platform which aims to provide the best viewing experience to consumers in the MENA region at an affordable price now offers over 57 Channels, out of which 46 are HD.

My-HD has a growing network of distributors across the MENA region.  Approved receivers and viewing cards are available in traditional shops as well as major hypermarkets and department stores in the region including Carrefour, Panda, Lulu, Sharaf DG, Emax, Extra, and HyperPanda among many others
