Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Monday with a negative performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 22.73 points, or 0.29%, to 7,706.34 points.

TASI’s traded volume stood at 103.86 million shares on Monday, up from 94.7 million on Sunday, while trading value jumped to SAR 2.55 billion ($680.27 million), from SAR 1.98 billion ($528 million).

The consumer services, materials, and banking sectors levelled down 2.46%, 0.28%, and 0.22%, respectively.

On the other hand, the healthcare sector inched up 0.97%, while telecommunication services sector added 0.43%.

The Saudi Cable Company’s stock was the worst performer after dropping 6.88%, whereas the stock of Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) was the best performer after growing 9.94%.

Alinma Bank’s stock, down 3.09%, topped TASI’s activities after 19.86 million shares were exchanged, generating a turnover of SAR 403.3 million.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, increased 14.38 points, or 0.56%, to cose at 2,580.1 points, after dropping for six consecutive sessions.

Al Kathiri Holding Co. and Baazeem Trading Co stocks’ went up 5.86% and 4.84%, respectively, whereas Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company’s stock fell 1.2%.
