Riyadh – The shareholders of Yamama Cement Company approved the board’s recommendation to disburse SAR 202.50 million as cash dividends for 2022.

A total of 202.50 million eligible shares will receive SAR 1 per share, equivalent to 10% of the share nominal value, on 9 April 2023.

The shareholders greenlighted the cash dividends during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) that was held on 20 March, according to a bourse filing.

Last year, Yamama Cement registered a 131.54% leap in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 355.79 million, compared to SAR 153.66 million in 2021.

Revenues hiked by 38.98% to SAR 1.02 billion in 2022 from SAR 735.84 million in 2021, while the earnings per share (EPS) rose to SAR 1.76 from SAR 0.76.
