Cairo –  Egyptian Financial Group Hermes Holding (EFG Hermes) recorded an annual hike in consolidated net profit after tax to EGP 2.19 billion in 2022, versus EGP 1.67 billion, including non-controlling interest.

Revenues hiked to EGP 10.93 billion last year from EGP 6.14 billion in 2021, according to the consolidated income statements.

Meanwhile, the total assets hit EGP 105.50 billion as of 31 December 2022, higher than EGP 97.38 billion a year earlier.

Standalone Financial Results

The standalone net profits after tax enlarged to EGP 2.09 billion last year from EGP 543.63 million in 2021, whereas the earnings per share (EPS) increased to EGP 1.80 from EGP 0.48.

Non-consolidated revenues surged to EGP 5.29 billion in 2022 from EGP 1.53 billion as of 31 December 2021, while the total assets jumped to EGP 16.54 billion from EGP 13.20 billion.

Bonus Shares

The board members of EFG Hermes proposed the distribution of 1 bonus share per every four owned shares for 2022.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the firm’s consolidated net profits after tax climbed to EGP 1.31 billion from EGP 1.12 billion in the year-ago period.
