JEDDAH — The security committees of the Jeddah Police in coordination with the Border Guards have locked down the whole seafront in Jeddah Governorate around the clock. This includes the seafront, the Southern Corniche, and Northern and Southern Obhur.

The move is part of the precautionary measures taken to reduce gatherings and crowding.

Over the past few days, Jeddah coast had witnessed crowding that called for the closure of all parking lots on the seafront, intensified security patrols to reduce gatherings, and implementation of mandatory social distancing regulations to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19.
