Saudi Arabia’s National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) has launched its application for smartphones to enhance access to donation opportunities, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Using digital solutions to facilitate the donation process has contributed to bringing the total donations of the Ehsan platform to more than SR1.2 billion, benefiting nearly three million beneficiaries from the neediest groups.

The application is expected to contribute to improving the end-user experience in providing donations with easy-to-navigate interfaces and use, multiple and quick donation methods, enabling alerts to be activated, in addition to other features of smartphones.

Ehsan CEO, Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi, said the launch of the application came as part of Ehsan’s continuous efforts to utilize the features of smart devices to simplify the donation process via solutions that come with promising features and developments.

He added that with the launch of the new application, the platform seeks to enable the donor to obtain a donation experience worthy of the leading role of the charitable sector in the Kingdom. The application can be downloaded on both iOS and Android systems.
