Minister of Education Wajih Owais on Wednesday announced plans to distribute 8,000 new heaters to all schools across the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He stressed the need to avoid assigning students the task of starting those heaters, cleaning them, or moving them from one room to another in order to preserve their safety, highlighting the dangers of tampering with them.

On another note, he said that the ministry will not back-pedal in regard to its decision to have face-to-face education, stressing the importance of adhering to health protocols to provide a safe and healthy learning environment.
