ArabFinance: Egypt’s health ministry detected 123 new COVID-19 cases in addition to 18 new fatalities, according to an August 5th statement.

This increased the country’s infection tally to 94,875 and the death toll to 4,930.

There were 1,613 new patients who were discharged from quarantine hospitals, bringing the total recoveries to 47,182 since the outbreak of the virus.

Globally, over 18.97 million cases have been registered, of which more than 12.17 million patients were cured of the virus until press time. The world’s total fatalities reached 711,277.
