Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) is organising a fireworks display, which will be launched from three platforms on Ajman Corniche at midnight on December 31.

The display, which will coincide with the UAE’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, is part of ATDD’s efforts to enhance Ajman’s position on local and regional tourism and entertainment maps.

Fireworks displays are designed to be impressive spectacles, and Ajman’s visitors and residents will enjoy surprises during the unique new five-minute show, which will be launched from three platforms along Ajman Corniche, making the New Year's Eve celebration a joyful occasion.

Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, ATDD director general, said: “Members of the public and hotel guests are looking forward to Ajman’s New Year celebrations, which will benefit all sectors of the economy – especially tourism and hospitality. The different categories of hotels in Ajman will experience high occupancy rates in light of the diverse options and tourism events and activities for visitors and guests from around the world.”

Saud Al Jasmi, head of events at ATDD, added: "In accordance with its agenda and strategy, ATDD is keen to add distinctive events and activities to the Emirate’s existing tourist attractions. The fireworks display on New Year’s Eve will light up Ajman’s sky, reflecting the vibrance of the Emirate’s tourism sector.”

ATDD is eager to achieve the Emirate’s vision – to be one of the UAE’s leading destinations for tourism and leisure – by organising events and activities that help to promote tourist attractions and attract more visitors so that the emirate becomes a meeting place for families from across the UAE and the region. - TradeArabia News Service
