Muscat: A sentence of three months imprisonment and /or a fine of OMR 500 will be imposed for anyone who discloses to the concerned authorities false information, submits incorrect documents or deliberately establishes incorrect details in forms or applications stipulated in the Traffic Law, its regulations and decisions.

A statement issued online by Public Prosecution said : "Disclosing to the concerned authorities false information, submitting incorrect documents or deliberately establishing incorrect details in the forms or applications stipulated in the Traffic Law, its regulations and decisions is an offence punishable by imprisonment for a period up to 3 months and a fine of OMR 500 or by either one of these two sentences. "
