RIYADH — The National Transformation Program’s 2022 annual report revealed that 95% of judicial sessions were held remotely.

The report shed light on the most prominent efforts and achievements made by the national transformation system in various fields in Saudi Arabia.

The report revealed the most prominent achievements were in the justice services, which has witnessed a huge transformation resulting in facilitating the judicial procedures.

This has led to the beneficiaries’ satisfaction with the legal services provided to them for the year 2022 reaching 95%.

The legal services provided electronically witnessed a huge and remarkable increase, from 30% in 2025 to 85% in 2022 of the total services of the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom.

It is worth noting that in 2022 the first virtual court was launched in Saudi Arabia, making it quicker and easier to access high quality services.

The virtual court contributed to dispensing with 7 court visits per one request, accepting and reviewing requests automatically, as well as the transactions, cash collection, and disbursement being done automatically.

The speed of streamlined enforcement procedures has been reduced and shortened to be from 12 steps, to two steps only.

A judicial laws and regulations platform was also launched, in order to enable all members of society to review the judicial legislations, which will contribute to raising transparency. It has published more than 60 new judicial laws and regulations.

The national transformation initiatives also contributed to the completion of the digitization of all judicial services provided, by 100%.

It provided more than 1,000 training courses in 2022 to more than 54,000 male and female trainees including judges, legal researches, board of grievances judges and more.

Moreover, The Ministry of Justice has worked to develop the reconciliation system in Saudi Arabia through the establishment of the Conciliation Center, and the launch of the “Taradhi” platform.

The platform was launched with the aim of spreading the culture of reconciliation in society and making it the best social and economic option for settling disputes.

This resulted in more than 2 million people benefiting from the Taradhi platform, more than 800,000 remote conciliation sessions, and more than 160,000 conciliation documents.
