The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced a four-day holiday for private sector employees for both Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha.
As part of its social media campaign, theMinistry of Labor and Social Development also highlighted holidays private sector employees will be entitled to on other occasions, such as holiday for the Saudi Arabia National Day, which falls on September 23.
The ministry said that private sector employees are entitled to avail of three-day paternity leave with full pay, a 5-day marriage leave and a five-day leave in the event of the death of wife or any one of parents or children.
According to the calendar of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), Government of Dubai, Eid Al Fitr will be observed on June 5, while Eid Al Adha will be observed on August 12, subject to moon sighting.
