KUWAIT CITY: As preparations are ongoing to implement decision taken by the Cabinet Ministers to allow entry of vaccinated expats into Kuwait with vaccines which are approved in Kuwait from 1st Aug, the government sources stated that the entry will allowed for expat who have received an unapproved vaccine and those who have received one dose.

The Cabinet has specified approved vaccines which are Pfizer, Oxford, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, those who are not vaccinated with two doses of first three vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson will not enter Kuwait, but Kuwaiti nationals can enter, reports Al Qabas.

Expats who have received only one of the approved doses and have traveled abroad will not be able to enter Kuwait unless they are vaccinated with a second dose of approved vaccine.

Expats children under age of 15 who are not vaccinated and are leaving Kuwait before 1st Aug necessary arrangements must be made before traveling, Those between 12 and 15 entry to Kuwait will be restricted unless they are vaccinated with an approved vaccine.

Children to be vaccinated or not is a subject to study, possibilities are that they will be excluded from this decision.
