KUWAIT CITY: In a bid to alleviate the suffering of expatriates as regards the need to phase out the long queues they encounter while paying the health insurance fee, sources at the Ministry of Health have shown positive indications that expatriates will soon be paying the fees online.

This information was premised on the cancellation of a recent tender by the Central Tenders Committee. The same sources added the mechanism of health insurance fee payment for expatriates, which started on Jan 28, has been described as successful with a large number of companies paying online, and the trend is expected to continue for a long time. They explained that the new method will enable expatriates to register their data and pay the fees online.
