RIYADH - Saudi Cabinet on Tuesday welcomed the signing of the recent agreement between Kuwait and the kingdom for partitioning the neutral zone and delimiting the submerged zone adjacent to the partitioned neutral zone.
The Saudi Cabinet also welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Kuwait for resuming joint oil production from the neutral zone, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It stressed the brotherly and historic ties between the two countries under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Last week, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia signed agreements to divide the Neutral Zone between both countries and a memo of understanding to resume joint oil production along the border. (end) mdm.aa
