‘Green’ symbolises the new commercial identity of the tourism sector and ‘blue’ the civil aviation sector, which is a reference to the beauty of the sultanate. ‘Gold’ symbolises the logistics sector. The silver colour in the logo refers to the industrial sector which refers to the diverse investment opportunities offered by the sultanate. ‘Red’ comes in the middle of the logo as a focal point of interest.
The audio identity of Oman Airports was also inaugurated. Inspired by an old Omani folk song that was sung at the opening of Oman’s first airport, Bait al Falaj. Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, said that the new identity of Oman Airports will give a new dimension and a big push to further work at a very important stage before starting operations at the new Muscat International Airport. The airport is a great landmark and a new addition to the achievements of the Blessed Renaissance era.
