Arab Finance: Remittances from Egyptians working abroad reached a record $34.9 billion during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (FY) 2025/2026, according to a statement issued by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
This marks a 32.0% year-on-year (YoY) growth, compared to around $26.4 billion recorded during the corresponding period a FY earlier.
It is worth noting that remittances hit around $29.4 billion during the first eight months of FY 2025/2026.
