Amman - The Higher Youth Council has taken part in an Arab-Afro Youth Forum on "Rivers Environment: The Nile Basin as a Model", held recently in the southern Egyptian city of Luqsor.
President of the Council Ahmed Masarwah, who opened the forum, noted the importance of environment in Jordanian youth policies.
He stressed the council's readiness to launch a specialized initiative on environment with the aim of preserving natural resources.
