Shafaq News / Turkish consulate in Basra called on Thursday, young Iraqis who have available basics of the Turkish language to participate in the program prepared to learn that language.

"We have prepared a program to learn Turkish language by finding opportunity for young Iraqis who want to study the Turkish language," The Turkish General in Basra , Farouq Qaimagja said in a statement received by "Shafaq News".

"In this context Turkish Grants Program , summer cycle of Turkish language for 2013 for will organize the program between 1 July - 25 of August 2013 in the cities of Bursa, Janaq Castle, Trabzon, Gaziantep, Konya, Zonkel Duck, Kayseri, Sagaraa , Kastamonu, Edirne and Samson. "

"Submitting to this program will be opened for ages between 18 - 27 years to students in bachelor's, masters and PHD researchers' degrees, but on condition of having the basics in the Turkish language, at least at the primary level," Turkish Consul said.

Relations between Turkey and Iraq was tensed since the arrest warrant was issued against the Vice President , Tareq al-Hashemi who was sentenced in absentia to death later on , as Ankara considered the decision as politicized, that provoked Baghdad to criticize strongly the Turkish government and considered it as blatant interventions .
