With the aim of reinforcing bilateral ties between the sultanate and Tunisia, a business delegation from the Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tunisia visited the Rusayl Industrial Estate on Sunday to get acquainted with investment opportunities in Oman.
The delegates represent major institutions and companies operating in various sectors in Tunisia including food, textile, solar power, aluminium, pharmaceuticals, machinery and medical cosmetics, industrial inspection, creation and maintenance of parks and spaces, tourism and real estate as well as computer services and Internet.
The visit is aimed at strengthening cooperation and partnership between the two countries, promote investment opportunities and discuss the possibility of setting up joint ventures. The delegation was briefed about Public Establishment for Industrial Estates and Rusayl Industrial Estate in particular.
Rusayl Industrial Estate officials highlighted the policies adopted by the Oman government to attract and support foreign investments. The officials also underlined the investment potentials and the incentives provided to investors in the various industrial estates in Oman, which fall under the umbrella of the PEIE.
The delegates were also introduced to the main services and facilities offered by Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM).
