Abu Dhabi, Jun 04th, 2010 (WAM) --satellite images showed that the Category Four- tropical cyclone has weakened falling into category One, said a statement from the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.
The eye of the cyclone that had developed in the Arabian sea on Wednesday was expected to make a landfall in the eastern coast of the UAE while heading towards Indian and Pakistani shores. The speed of the storm has substantially subsided falling into 120kmph, which meant that it is currently in category one, said the statement.
