Standard Chartered announced yesterday the appointment of Raheel Ahmed as Regional Head of Consumer Banking for the Middle East, Pakistan and Africa. Raheel is taking over from Vishu Ramachandran, who will become the Chief Operating Officer for Consumer Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. Raheel will report to Steve Bertamini, Group Executive Director and CEO, Consumer Banking and will be based in Dubai, the Bank’s regional headquarters. Raheel has over 20 years of experience in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
