Sika, a leading Swiss manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has signed a lease agreement with Economic Zones World subsidiary TechnoPark.
Sika has said it will construct a manufacturing and technical facility on a 30,000 square metre land area, over the next year to develop, supply and support product sales in the Gulf.
The site will also house a Regional Technical Centre for the entire IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) region.
Sika specialises in high quality construction chemicals including concrete admixtures, mortars, sealants and adhesives, flooring and waterproofing membranes and adhesives.
Sika has expanded its presence in the region and set up a base in the UAE recently, the company said in a statement.
