DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Saudi Arabia's Advanced Petrochemical Co., or APC, said Saturday it had shut down its polypropylene unit on Oct. 6 as part of "necessary repairs."
Works are due to be completed within 10 days, APC said in a statement posted on the Saudi bourse website.
The company added that the financial impact of the plant closure would be reflected in its fourth-quarter results.
APC's shares were last trading 1.81% higher at SAR28.10.
