Spread over a 26,000-sq-m area in the suburb of Al Wajah in Dammam, the project is being built in partnership with the private sector.
It will boast 304 residential apartments of various sizes and designs that suit the desires and needs of Saudi families with the prices starting from SR309,000 ($82,249) onwards, said the statement from Sakani. These homes are also being available in easy monthly instalments, it added.
On its strategic location, Sakani said the project was easily accessible from all sides at the western entrance to the city of Dammam on the Riyadh highway.
It extends over an area of more than 9 million sq m, within an integrated environment that takes into account the standards of quality of life and provides all health, educational and commercial services in addition to parks, sports spaces and recreational centers to enhance the quality of life, it added.
Naama among about 30 housing projects under construction by Sakani and provided to its beneficiaries in the eastern region, featuring more than 21,840 A type of housing units comprising apartments, villas, and townhouses distributed between Dammam, Khobar, Qatif and Al Ahsa at an average price of SR600,000, said a company spokesman.
"The project is characterised by its typical designs according to the highest standards, with areas ranging from 130 - 190 sq m to the unit, and includes green spaces with urban planning inspired by the culture of the eastern coast," he added.
According to him, the number of families that have benefited from its programme until the end of 2020 has surged to more than 1.1 million, of which 390,819 families benefited from various financing solutions and housing options last year, exceeding the target number specified to serve 300,000 families, despite the exceptional circumstances owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
For 2021, Sakani aims to serve 220,000 new families by pumping 50,000 new housing units, and providing 140,000 subsidized real estate loans, he added.
