Amman - Jordan Telecom Group (JTG) - Orange is currently studying the establishment of a Smart Village project to promote Jordan's leadership in the telecommunications and Information technology sector, JTG Chairman of board of director Shabib Ammari announced.

Ammari told Petra that Orange, minister of Information and Communications Technology Basem Rousan, a group of ambassadors and a number of relevant developers and financiers will be getting together tomorrow to discuss the project and review its strategic plan and investment aspects.

He added that the project, a brainchild launched in 2008, will be a capital-attracting platform and strategic base for many telecommunication companies that are willing to invest in the Kingdom.
