MUSCAT -- NOVA Medical Centres, India's leading Ambulatory Surgery Group, announced yesterday its expansion into the Middle East region with the launch of its first facility in Muscat under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Health.
NOVA Medical Centres Middle East LLC is set up in the Sultanate in partnership with the OMZEST Group, Omar Zawawi Establishment LLC. It is a joint venture of 51.49 per cent between NOVA and OMZEST which has acquired a 12.5 per cent stake in NOVA's Indian operations.
NOVA Medical Centres Middle East LLC has a real start of its operations in Oman with the launch of a state-of-the-art polyclinic in Al Khuwair. The NOVA Polyclinic will have a panel of super-specialists consultants. The Polyclinic is equipped with comprehensive diagnostics including a pathology lab, digital X-ray, and ultrasound.
It will also offer multi-specialities including: General Medicine, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, General Surgery and Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, ENT, Ophthalmology (Visiting), Plastics and Aesthetics (Visiting), Spine (Visiting), Bariatric (Visiting), Urology (Visiting), and In Vitro Fertilization (Visiting).
Commenting on the partnership between NOVA and OMZEST, Rajiv Dhar, Executive Director -- Finance at OMZEST, noted that: "We are delighted to be partnering with NOVA.
