MUSCAT -- Gulf Services and Industrial Supplies Company LLC, held a technical seminar on "Noise insulated polypropylene pipes and fittings for sanitary applications," at a well attended event featuring presentations by Poloplast Gmbh, Germany. Part of the Arabi Holding Group KSC, Kuwait, Gulf Services and Industrial Supplies is one of the leading trading houses here in Oman. They are set to offer, for the first time in the Sultanate, the internationally well received and innovative Poloplast polypropylene pipes and fittings, recognised around the world as a premier product in its field.
Poloplast Gmbh are one of the pioneers in the manufacture of polypropylene pipes and fittings, which are utilised in different applications, such as noise insulated drainage lines, hot and cold lines in building services and underground sewer lines. All of these products are highly corrosion resistant, non-sediment forming and abrasion resistant and are also put to use in conveying different types of chemicals.
Roman Eberle, Area Manager - Export, assisted by Hassan Moussa and Ralph Konstantin, of Poloplast Gmbh, gave an in-depth presentation, with slide shows and programmes, regarding the company, its infrastructure, products and their experiences in the field. Following the seminar, attendees were given a chance to view practical demonstrations on the technicalities involved in installation and find out more about the proper way of joining pipes and fittings.
The live, interactive session allowed for active participation from the audience with officials from several ministries and representatives of major electro-mechanical consultants and contractors allowing them to have their questions and queries answered. Product application covers almost the entire gamut of building services related projects.
