BAGHDAD: Muhannad al-Bayati, the spokesman of the (Arab coalition), headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq demanded to review the laws that have Legislated on a sectarian basis.
He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / "the unfair laws that legislated and implemented on sectarian basis should be reviewed and amended or abolished, such as anti-terrorism law and the law of the confidential informant that oppressed thousands of citizens."
He stressed " on the importance of amending the law of accountability and justice, describing it as a" sword " over the necks of the Iraqis.
Al-Bayati said: "We are determined to achieve genuine national reconciliation and open a new page so as Iraqi society overcomes the ordeal and enjoys a decent life and leave the honest Iraqi judiciary to say its word in resolving all outstanding problems".
