DUBAI, 23rd March, 2016 (WAM) -- In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has issued Decrees No. (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10) of 2016, appointing and promoting judges, members of the public prosecution dept. and judicial inspectors.

Decree No. (5) of 2016 promotes Judge Mohammed Abid Sulaiman Hamad al-Mutawa and Judge Ahmed Mahmoud Mohamme al-Haj to the positions of Senior First Instance Judge with grade 5 at the Court of First Instance, while Decree No. (6) of 2016 promotes Ashraf Dasoki Ali Al-Shobayki to the grade of Judge of Appeal, effective from 1st November 2015.

Decree No. (7) of 2016 appoints Samah Ibrahim Mohammed Ibrahim and Dr. Mohsen Ibrahim Mohammed Hassan to the grade of Cassation Judge at the Court of Appeal, and also appoints Assim Mohammed Rashad Al Sayed Al-Saifi, Hatim Ahmed Ahmed Moussa, Waleed Ahmed Nasr al-Jundi and Abdulradi Hassan Hassan to the grade of Appeal Judges.

The Decree also appoints Ahmed Abdulkader Mohammed Abu al-Nile, Hisham Mustapha Ali Badran, Mohammed Mahmoud Sultan, Houssam Eddine Mohammed Hassan Naim and Aktham Abdulwarith Abdulhalim Abdullah as Judges in the First Instance Court with the grade of Initial Judge, effective from 28th December, 2015.

Decree No. (8) of 2016 promotes the following public prosecutors to the position of senior public prosecutors with grade 6: Abdullah Ali Mohammed Salmin al-Suwaidi, Khalid Abdullah Ahmed Abdulrahman al-Qahtani, Hassan Salih al-Dhafir al-Dhafiri, Mohammed Hussein Ali Hussein al-Hamadi, Ali Mohammed Khater Zahid Mohammed Hamadi, Jamal Youssef Mohammed Shourafaa, Farida Thani Bakhi Mubarak al-Suwaidi, Amina Saif Hamid Sultan Bouassiba, Bashair Essa Mohammed al-Hamadi, Abu Bakr Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed al-Hamadi, Haifa Mohammed Abdulrahman al-Marzouqi, Maitha Ali Mubarak Ali, Ahmed Rashid Khamis Rashid al-Suwaidi, Waleed Abdulaziz Mohammed al-Naibari, Amina Mansour Ibrahim Ahli, Hamad Obaid Saeed Hamad bin Farish al-Katbi, Ibrahim Abdullah Ghanem Saif al-Zughabi, Amina Jumaa Hassan Bouktara, Thuraya Abdularahim Abdulkareem al-Zarouni, Hanan Mohammed al-Sayed Ahmed al-Hashmi, Nassir Mohammed Saif Mohammed al-Shahi, Kalithem Abdullah Mohammed Hassan, Khalfan Sulaiman al-Shamsi, Hussain Youssef Ahmed Ali Abdullah, Essa Abdullah Jumaa Ali al-Doussari, Daoud Ali Ahmed Jamal al-Hamadi, Hussein Mohammed Hassan Tamim and Ghanem Abdullah Jumaa Hamid bin Jabar. This Decree is effective from 1st January, 2016.

Decree No. (9) of 2016 appoints Abdullah Hamid Abdullah Haloula, Jamal Ali Toufik Serhan, Hazim Abdulshafi Abu Baker Mohamed and Mustapha Hassan Mohammed Khater as Judicial Inspectors at the Department of Judicial Inspection with category (B), effective from 2nd January, 2016.

Decree No (10) of 2016 transfers the following persons from Dubai Police to Dubai Courts and appoints each person as a Judge in the First Instance Court with grade 6, in the following order of seniority: Saoud Salem Saoud Saeed al-Jabri, Khaled Obaid Mohammed Khalfan Saeed Ali al-Matyouei, Ahmed Saeed Salem Rashid al-Mazrouei, Waleed Ali Mohammed Obeid Khalfan al-Badaouaoui, Saif Ali Mohammed Ahmed al-Shahi, Mohammed Muhair Said Benouas al-Katbi and Faisal Jumaa Khamis Ali Abdullah al-Ajmi. The Decree also appoints Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Suleiman Abdullah as First Instance Judge with grade 6. This Decree is effective from 12th January, 2016.
