AMMAN - The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on Wednesday signed an agreement with the Swedish company ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, to develop NEPCO's monitoring and control centre in south Amman. Under the JD4 million project, the Swedish company will develop the equipment and programmes at the centre to keep abreast of developments in the field of electric energy and expand the national electricity network across the Kingdom.
