Jaguar, the British luxury car manufacturer has recently announced the arrival in Tunisia of the new 2010 Jaguar XF equipped with a 3.0 liter diesel engine. The car which will be marketed through "Alpha International Tunisia", sets new standards for performance, efficiency and  fuel economy.

The car will be a great opportunity for Tunisian drivers seduced by the car maker's unique British blend of luxury and feline raciness. The new 3.0 liter diesel engine for the 2010 Jaguar XF is available in two diesel versions, the first deploys 240 horsepower and bears the simple name XF Diesel, the second version (XF Diesel S) also offers 275 horsepower.

Jaguar's website writes that the XF Diesel S "offers its clients surprising performance and is distinguished by a modest boot spoiler and 'S' budging. It is the most powerful oil-burner Jaguar has ever produced, with 271bhp and 600Nm of torque, but driven with care it will still return more than 40mpg".
The XF Diesel, meanwhile, the 240 horsepower version of the 3.0 liter diesel, allows additional power of 16% with 500Nm of torque and is able to reach 100Km / h in 7.1 seconds.

Both 3.0-liter versions produce10% less CO2 than the 2.7-liter one,  with a better fuel economy.

Mr. Moncef Klibi, CEO of Alpha International Tunisia, said "the 2010XF Diesel provides a new dimension to the brand. We are confident that Tunisian customers will enjoy the beauty, style and performance offered by this car".
For his part Robin Colgan, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover MENA, said that ""the Jaguar XF has been a hit for customers since its launch in 2008 and we are confident that the new diesel XF will continue to build success in Tunisia".
