Baghdad: The Central Bank of Iraq announced contracting with an international gold mint company to produce gold coins for personal savings.

In a statement, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, the pieces will weigh from 5 to 1000 grams.

It is expected that Iraq will import 11 tons of gold pieces for goldsmiths' usages.
