Tehran - Listing Manager at Iran Fara-Bourse Stock Exchange Mehdi Alamolhoda said on Sunday that his company is keen to develop cooperation with the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges in the near future.


He made the remarks in a briefing on the outcome of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Eexchanges executive committee and working committee meetings held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Alamolhoda said good talks were held on the sidelines of the meeting with officials of the neighboring countries and that of the regional stock exchanges.

He said that the working group held a meeting on the margins of the executive committee and working committee on setting up the small- and medium-sized companies and Iran Fara-Bouse Stock Exchange had an active presence in the working group with regards to its extensive research in the field.

The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges is a non-profit international organization comprising the main stock exchanges in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.

It was established on May 16, 1995 with 12 founding members. Currently there are 33 members and 12 affiliates from 29 countries.
