Cairo –   A group of investors are offering plans to establish a new hotel in El Gouna, CEO of Orascom Development Egypt, Khaled Bichara, stated.

The offers are still under consideration, the top official revealed, adding that the projected deals in Taba Heights will boost tourism in the region, especially after Germany lifted a ban on travel to Taba and Sharm El Sheikh.

Bichara noted that hotels in Taba Heights are undergoing renovation to be ready to host German tourists.

Orascom Development Egypt posted a 113% year-on-year profit hike during the first half of 2019 on the back of increased revenues, recording EGP 393.7 million.
