KASBAH - Interim Prime Minister Ali Larayedh conferred here on Tuesday with Morocco's new ambassador to Tunisia Mohamed Faraj Doukkali.

The meeting allowed to discuss "the strong and distinguished" relations between the two countries in light of their common history and future bilateral plans, said the Moroccan diplomat, according to a communiqué of the Prime Ministry.

The meeting focused notably on means to develop bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic field and in matters of trade exchanges for the benefit of the two countries. Both sides also reviewed Arab Maghreb issues and neighbourliness relations as well as the situation in the Middle East, Egypt and Syria, according to the same source.
