Senior management officials from Hikma Pharmaceuticals attended the launching of the University of Jordan Faculty of Pharmacy's new lecture halls. The ceremony showcased the renovation of 10 lecture halls sponsored by various pharmaceutical entities including Hikma Pharmaceuticals. Hikma's support of the Faculty of Pharmacy highlights its desire to support education and improve the pharmaceutical industry in Jordan.
This collaboration comes in line with Hikma's vision to promote education initiatives as part of its corporate responsibility values. Hikma's educational schemes include launching a national and international internship programme every year for university graduates to gain valuable first-hand work experience necessary for their personal and professional development. It also offers educational scholarships for employees and their children. Hana Ramadan, director of corporate communications at Hikma, said: "Hikma continues supporting the educational process at different stages, including undergraduate study. Building upon our history of cooperation with the University of Jordan, we coordinated with them to produce an educational environment that was up to the global standards of training for the students of pharmacy, because it is important for us to invest in our youth while observing our mission of advancing the pharmaceutical market in the Kingdom."
