Ajman, Oct. 2, 2009 (WAM) -- Five persons have been injured following a partial collapse of the roof of a shopping mall under construction at the Old Muroor Road here in Ajman.
According to Director General of Ajman Police, Ali Alwan, three of the five injured persons who were rushed to hospital for treatment, had been treated and discharged. The other two, he added, are responding to treatment. Commenting on the issue, the Director of Buildings Section of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, Engineer Khalifa Al-Falasi, said his outfit had set up a technical committee to investigate the cause of the partial collapse of the building's roof, adding that his outfit is waiting for details which would lead to knowing the real cause of the collapse.Copyright Emirates News Agency (WAM) 2009.
