RIYADH: Elixir Polyclinic, a clinic in Riyadh, announced on Monday that it had acquired a range of the latest medical equipment including mobile equipment for its laboratory and panorama X-ray for its dental section. "The installation of this latest equipment is designed to create efficient workflow processes in the clinic and treat patients with full satisfaction," said Salem A. Al-Zahrani, general manager for Elixir Polyclinic on Monday.

Al-Zahrani said that the new surgical machines and other equipment would greatly help the clinic to improve patient care, reduce surgical delays, minimize costs and save time. Al-Zahrani was joined by Mirza Afsar Ali Baig, Elixir business development manager; and Dr. Shaikh Muhammed A. Razaq, an expert in internal medicine, at the press briefing. The Elixir chief said that the clinic today can boast one of the best dental departments, obstetrics and gynecology clinic and pediatric section.

This is in addition to the internal medicine & cardiology unit, an ENT clinic, ophthalmology department, general surgery unit, urology department, genital & infertility clinic besides a fully-quipped laboratory for medical analysis, X-ray and advanced ultrasound. "In fact, we have successfully grown and also maintained the best medical practice through recruitment of the finest doctors from different countries of the world," said the Elixir chief.

Al-Zahrani said that the doctors mainly focus on tailoring the latest and best practices to individual patient needs. He pointed out that most of the clinic's physicians are from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Yemen and Lebanon, who can speak the language of the expatriate patients. "We will be shortly recruiting some more specialists from India to cater to the growing demand," said Baig. He assured the patients that the clinic would provide better facility and exceptional services, while treating any patient.
