EGYPT: The Alexandria Port Authority said that it has received three bids from the UAE and Kuwait for a project to develop Alexandria's tourism port project for $500 million (Dh1.83bn), the Londonbased Asharq Al Awsat daily reported yesterday.
The authority's President, Ibrahim Yousef, told the newspaper that the firms are Kuwait's International Investor and Kharafi Group and Dubai Investment Group. The winning bid will be announced in the next two weeks.
