Reaffirms full adherence to disclosure regulations
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Wednesday denied media report that it's involved in merger talks with Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX).
"We would like to inform you that DFM is not involved in any of the discussions that had been taking place by the representatives of the governments of Dubai and Abu Dhabi or it is party to any negotiations," DFM Chairman Essa Abdulfattah Kazim said in a statement on the bourse website.
Kazim said there is no more information that can be disclosed and reaffirmed its full adherence to the disclosure and transparency regulations that govern the publicly-listed companies.
Dubai Financial Market is listed on the Dubai bourse. Its share price was up half a per cent in mid-day trade on Wednesday.
