DOHA: The organising committee for the Third Civil Defence Exhibition and Conference has launched its marketing campaign by participating in the Intersec Dubai exhibition.

With the launch of Qatar 2011 Civil Defence Exhibition and Conference marketing campaign, the organising committee members under the chairmanship of Brigadier Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of Civil Defence, participated in Intersec Dubai, United Arab Emirates, aiming at inviting international companies specialised in safety to participate in Qatar exhibition.

Al Suwaidi provided an idea to the potential visitors to Qatar exhibition about the rate growth and economic boom witnessed by Qatar as well as a profile for the mega-projects that precedes the World Cup in 2022. Brigadier Al Suwaidi also said that the exhibition organising Committee is focusing its invitations to international companies which have completed large-scale projects in the region and contain innovation in safety technology worldwide to take advantage of their expertise in supporting civil defense systems in Qatar. He added that the organising committee will provide all the services and information for the participating companies in the exhibition to activate their involvement in the interests of both parties. It will also show replicas of some of the future projects and current developments to inform the participating companies about the size of future construction and how the cooperation between the investment sectors and other services ensure their safety and exchange of experiences through the exhibition.

He also visited several exhibition stands of companies specialising in civil defence and was accompanied by Brig -General Abdul Aziz Al Ansari and Brig  Nasser Al Muslim from the Ministry of the Interior. Organising committee officials  Captain Hussein Amman,  Lt Ghanem Al Naimi, and the Executive Director of the exhibition Eizzedin Abdul Rahman have reported that the level of participation with the launch of the marketing campaign has exceeded the expectations, especially from companies that have received a detailed explanation from the chairman of the committee about the size of projects in Qatar.

Qatar wil host the Civil Defence Exhibition from Novemebr 14 to 16  at the Doha International Exhibition Centre.
