DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Abu Dhabi Airports Co., the owner and operator of Al Ain International Airport, said Wednesday Touma Air Tchad, the national carrier of Chad, started cargo operations from the airport.

The North African airline operating from its main home-base of N'Djamena International Airport will operate in conjunction with Cargolux a weekly service from Al Ain to N'Djamena, ADAC said in an emailed statement.

Touma Air Tchad will initially operate up to two flights per week from Al Ain International Airport and it will also become the second cargo airline to start operations from Abu Dhabi's second major airport in 2008.
