MUSCAT -- Central Bank of Oman has issued a commemorative coin in silver on the occasion of the 38th National Day and the 19th Arabian Gulf Cup currently being held in the Sultanate.

The coin depicts the logo of the tournament in colours.

The coin is a legal tender for its face value and may be purchased from CBO. The price of the coin is subject to change in accordance with the variations in the prices of the bullion in the international market.

The obverse side of the coin has a coat of arms (khanjar), the name of the country, CBO and the denomination in Arabic and English.

The reverse side depicts the logo of the 19th Gulf Cup in colours.

The silver coin in RO1 denomination has a fitness of 0.925 silver, 38.70mm diameter, 28.28gm weight and costs RO13.
